Giddy Up and Go: Horseback Riding Tahoe
2004 Rates
Getting the entire family on the same page can be difficult on hiking or biking trails. Enter horseback riding. Guided horseback riding adventures are offered for every ability: never-evers to advanced riders.
And the terrain? Incredible. Scenic vistas, granite outcroppings, Lake Tahoe views, and mountain meadows - each trail has its own allure. Here's a recap of Tahoe stables that offer rides to the public. For a new twist on family fun, consider a dinner or "Steak Ride", where wranglers cook up your meal trailside. Giddy up!
Most stables have age and weight restrictions. Most require trail riders to be six years of age and older and less than 225 pounds. Most offer helmets, but you might consider taking along your own bike helmet for proper fit. Call for updated pricing and reservations.
